Configurable Menus

The following list contains some menus that you can configure. To do this, use the Customize > Menus dialog box. Use the Tools > Customization > Start Customize Mode... button to open the dialog box.

Document

This context menu belongs to the Documents tool window. To open the context menu, right click the Documents tool window's background. You will see commands regarding the opening and saving of files here.

Document Group - Caption

To open this context menu, right click on an empty area (1) in the document bar.

DocumentBar01

The document bar is the document group's header. The context menu contains the commands for arranging document groups.

Which commands this context menu offers, depends on where you click on the document bar. If you click on the title of a specific document, the Document title context menu opens. This context menu also offers you the commands for saving and closing the document.

Document title

To open this context menu, right click in the document bar, on the title of a document that has been loaded (1).

The document bar is the document group's header. The context menu offers you commands for saving and closing the document, and for arranging document groups.

Which commands this context menu offers, depends on where you click on the document bar. If you don't click on a document title, but instead on an empty area, (2), the Document Group - Caption context menu will open. This context menu only contains the commands for arranging document groups.

Open File

To open this menu click the arrow next to the Open bb_open button. You can find this button on the Standard toolbar. Use the commands in this menu to open document files.

Gallery - Background / Gallery Document

The Gallery - Document and Gallery - Background context menus both belong to the Gallery tool window. This context menu can offer you different functions depending on what you select in the tool window.

Right click in the tool window's background to open the Gallery - Background context menu. This menu contains commands that apply to all of the loaded documents or that change the tool window's appearance.

To open the Gallery - Document context menu, select a specific document or thumbnail, then click your right mouse button. The Gallery - Document context menu only offers you commands that are relevant to one particular document, the command to save or close this document for example.

Geometry List

You will find this menu in two places in your software. Use the Image > Geometry command to open a list of all of the geometry functions. You will find the same list in the dialog box that offers you access to all of the image processing functions.

Image Document - Content

To open this context menu, right click the image window or the image in the Image Navigator tool window. This menu contains commands affecting how an image is displayed. You can change the image's zoom factor for example. When image segments have been selected you can copy them, insert them or cut them out.

Layout

To open this menu click the Layout button. You can find this button on the menu bar, to the right of the tab for toggling between layouts. Use the commands in this menu to switch backwards and forwards between the different layouts or to restore the predefined layouts.

More Filters List

Your software offers you several functions for processing images, with them you can change the contrast or the colors of an image. The dialog box that is opened when you use an image processing function is made up in the same way for every image processing function.

You will find the More filters list context menu in the dialog box that opens when you select an image processing function. To do this, click the More button in this dialog box's toolbar. The menu provides you with access to all of the image processing and geometry functions.

You can hide either the image processing functions or the geometry functions, in this dialog box.

Process Menu

You will find this menu in two places in your software.

First of all, you will find this menu on the main menu bar. The menu is context sensitive and will only appear when the active document is an image. The menu is faded out when a workbook is active, for example. The Process Menu context menu contains the commands you need to edit and filter an image.

You will find the same menu in the dialog box that offers you access to all of the image processing functions. To do this, click the More button in the image processing dialog box's toolbar.

Tool Window - Caption

To open this context menu, right click the header of any tool window. You can make individual tool windows appear and disappear, and also change their positions.

Toolbar Area - Background

To open this context menu, right click any position on one of the displayed toolbars. Use this menu to make toolbars and tool windows appear and disappear.

Synchronize Image Windows

To open this menu, click the arrow next to the Synchronize Image Windows button. You can find this button on the Documents tool window's toolbar. You'll find commands for the synchronization of image documents there.

Macro

Macros offer you the possibility to automate work procedures that you use repeatedly. To record, edit and manage macros, use the Macro Manager tool window.

You can open different context menus in the Macro Manager tool window. You will find a detailed description of the commands in the context menu here.

Load a macro in the Macro Manager tool window. To open the Macro - Background context menu, right click the tool window's background.

To open the Macro - Step context menu, right click a function that belongs to the active macro.

To open the Macro Management - Menu context menu, click the Macro Management button. You can find this button in the Macro Manager tool window's toolbar.
