Use the Menus tab in the Customize dialog box to set up the configuration of your menus. See also Configuring a main menu1.Use the Tools > Customization > Start Customize Mode... command. 2.Select the Menus tab in the Customize dialog box. 3.At the top of your software's menu bar, open the main menu that you want to configure. The Customize dialog box will remain open. Removing a command4.With the left mouse button depressed, drag the command you want to remove out of the menu. Adding a command5.Switch to the Commands tab in the Customize dialog box. In the Categories list select the command group from which you want to add commands to the menu. Select the required commands in the Commands list and drag them onto the menu. Grouping commands6.To arrange a menu more clearly you can group its commands. Two groups of commands will then be separated by a horizontal line. In your software's menu bar, open the menu in which you want to insert a line to separate groups. Select the menu command with which the new group is to begin. Click the right mouse button to open a context menu. Select the Start Group command from the context menu. 7.A dividing line will appear above the command you've selected. 8.The Start Group command from the context menu will then be marked with a check for this menu command. To remove the line, select the Start Group command once more. 7.In the Customize dialog box, click the Close button to finalize the new menu configuration. Please note the following step: •The changed menu is automatically saved when you close your software. The currently loaded software configuration will be overwritten by the automatically saved software configuration file. You will find more information on the software configuration here. •The new software configuration with the changed menu will be loaded automatically during the next start of your software. Configuring a context menu1.Use the Tools > Customization > Start Customize Mode... command. 2.Select the Menus tab in the Customize dialog box. 3.Select the menu you want to edit from the Select context menu list. Click here to obtain a list of several context menus that can be configured. 4.The selected context menu will appear on the user interface. Removing a command4.With the left mouse button depressed, drag the command you want to remove out of the context menu. Adding a command5.Switch to the Commands tab in the Customize dialog box. In the Categories list select the command group from which you want to add commands to the context menu. Select the required commands in the Commands list and drag them onto the context menu. 6.In the Customize dialog box, click the Close button to finalize the new context menu configuration. 7.The changed context menus will then disappear. When you now open this context menu at its usual place, the commands you wanted to add will be included, those you removed will not.
