Overview - Camera Settings

In the Acquisition Settings dialog box, when the Camera entry is selected, you will find all of the settings that apply to your camera.

Note: The exact functionality in the camera settings depends on the camera used. For this reason, the functionality in your software may differ from that described here.

Viewing the camera settings

When an image is acquired, most of the camera settings are saved. After acquiring the image, activate it in the document group. You can find the camera settings in the Camera group, located in the Properties tool window. This information will only be retained if the images are saved in the TIF or VSI format.

Opening the dialog box

There are several ways of opening the dialog box with the camera settings.

Click the Acquisition Settings bb_camera_settings button on the Camera Control toolbar.

Click the Acquisition Settings bb_camera_settings button on the Camera Control tool window's toolbar.

Use the Acquire > Devices > Device Settings... command. Expand the Camera entry in the tree structure.
