Multi-tap readout
In the Multi-tap readout group, specify how the image data is read out of the camera chip. You can make this setting for the live-image and for snapshot acquisition separately. By default, the 4-Tap entry is set for the live-image and the 1-Tap entry for the snapshot acquisition.

The illustration demonstrates a schematic diagram of the camera chip's readout options (left: 4-Tap, center: 2-Tap, right: 1-Tap).
In the picklist, select the 4-Tap entry to read out the camera chip as fast as possible. This setting divides the camera chip into 4 areas and reads out all 4 areas simultaneously. The data that was read out separately is recombined in a subsequent process.
In the Snapshot/Process picklist, select the 1-Tap entry to achieve the highest image quality for snapshots.
Default
Click the Default button to have the settings in the dialog box returned to the factory settings.
