Description of dialog box
Select the Cooling active check box to turn on the Peltier cooling for your camera. Cooling is necessary for acquiring high quality images. When the CCD chip's temperature rises, so does the noise in the image.
The operating temperature depends on the camera being used. The temperature is measured on the CCD chip itself. Use the Acquisition Settings > Camera > Information dialog box to view the current chip temperature.
You can change the temperature to which the camera is cooled. To do so, use the Temperature target slider.
