The Toolbox toolbar contains numerous tools that can help you to view images and to select the image segments that interest you.
If this toolbar is not displayed, use the View > Toolbars > Toolbox command.

The following table lists the buttons which are available by default on the toolbar.
Using different mouse modes
When you click one of the buttons on the Toolbox toolbar, you will change into another mouse mode. The button that has been selected will appear clicked, thereby showing you which is the active mouse mode.
You can also recognize the active mouse mode by the form the mouse pointer has on an image document. Each mouse mode has a different mouse pointer.
You will remain in the active mouse mode until you explicitly switch it off. To do this, select another button in the Toolbox toolbar.
