This dialog box offers several preferences that change the user interface's appearance. Use the Tools > Options... command to open this dialog box. . Select the Environment > General entry in the tree view. Description of the function groupsUser interfaceThe components of the user interface are to a great extent configurable, so that they can be easily adapted to meet the requirements of individual users and tasks. Whether you are in the standard or expert mode is the decisive factor as to which possibilities you have to change the appearance of the user interface. Choose the Standard mode option to limit the possibilities for changing your user interface. Tool windows and document groups can then no longer be dragged out of the user interface. Choose the Expert mode option to have the maximum freedom in changing your user interface. In the expert mode you can, for instance, drag all of the tool windows, just as you do a normal dialog box, from their position on the user interface, to any position on your screen. Use the View > Layout > Reset Current Layout command to return the user interface to its default configuration. FileIn the Number of entries in recent file list field, enter the number of files that are to be listed in the File > Recent Files submenu. There you will find the latest image and document files that you have saved or loaded. If, e.g. you have acquired and stored an image, you will find its path name in this list. You can use the file list to quickly reload a document. The list can contain a maximum of 20 documents. Any changes you make to this setting will first be effective when you restart your software. Click the Register File Types... button to register various file formats for images and other types of documents as formats for use with this program within MS Windows. Activating documentsThe Documents and Gallery tool windows show all of the documents that have been loaded. Clear the Activate documents with single click check box. From now on, you will have to doubleclick a document, to activate it in the document group. Select the Activate documents with single click check box. Then it's sufficient to click once with the left mouse button to have the document you have chosen displayed in the document group. Export to XLS/TXTYou can export your measurement results, from an interactive measurement for example, to an MS-Excel file. To do this, click the Export to Excel button, located in the Measurement tool window's toolbar. Select the Automatically open associated program after an export to XLS or TXT check box, if after the export has been made, MS-Excel is to be started with the exported sheet. The prerequisite for this is that MS-Excel has been installed on your PC. Clear this check box if you don't want to view the exported sheet immediately. MS-Excel will then not be started. 3301 19122011 |
