Opening the dialog boxTo open this dialog box, use the Tools > Options... command and select the Images > Navigation entry in the tree structure. You can also open this dialog box directly from the navigation bar for multi-dimensional images. For image series you will find the navigation bar directly in the image window. Click the Navigation Options... Selecting individual images in the tile viewPlease note that the animation always applies to those images that have been selected. Those are, by default, all of the images in the image series. If you only want to animate specific images in the image series, you should select these images before you start the animation. Description of the function groupsSee also Navigation bar for image series (time stack) Display speedThe maximum number of images that can be displayed on your monitor per time unit is limited by your PC's performance capacity. In the Display speed group, you can stipulate how your software is to react, when the play-back speed that you want cannot be attained. Select the Limit speed option, to have all of the images you have selected, displayed at the maximum speed that is possible, during the animation. Select the Preserve speed (skip frames) option to simulate the play-back speed you want. Then your software will leave out some of the frames. To set the play-back speed, use the Define Speed dialog box. Direction
An image series will automatically have its own navigation bar directly in the image window. Use this navigation bar to start or stop the animation.
Smooth movement while panningWhen an image is larger than the current size of your software's image window, only a section of the image will be displayed in the image window. In the pan mode, you can move an image within the image window to change the image segment that is being displayed. Select the Smooth movement while panning check box to make the image in the image window automatically move in the specified direction. To do this, switch to the pan mode. Keep the left mouse button pressed, drag the image in the direction you want, and release the left mouse button during the movement. The image will automatically keep moving. The speed at which the image moves depends on the speed of the movement of the mouse when you set the image in motion. Click once with the left or right mouse button, or move the mouse wheel to stop the movement of the image. See also 1732 07032013 |
