Define Speed

In the Define Speed dialog box you set the speed at which image series are to be played back. An image series can be a time stack or a Z-stack. An image series is, as a rule, a time stack.

Opening the dialog box

To open this dialog box, load an image series. In the image window's navigation bar, you will find the Navigation Options... bb_series_optionMenuPfeil button. Click the small arrow next to the button to open a short menu with commands that refer to the settings for the animation of an image series. Select the Define Speed... command.

Dimension

From the list, select the image dimension you want to animate. The list only contains several entries when the active image also comprises several dimensions.

Frame rate

In the Frame Rate field, you enter how many frames are to be displayed per second during the animation. The speed with which the images were acquired is preset.

As an example: With television, 25 images are displayed per second. The unit would, in this case be [1/s] (frame per seconds).

You can change the unit for the play-back speed. To do this, click the button with the current unit and select the unit you want.

Restoring default settings

Click the Original Speed button to reset the frame rate to its preset value.
