The Drawing Object Properties dialog box specifies the properties of all of the drawing objects that have been selected in an image. You can immediately check out their changed characteristics in the image: To do this, click the Apply button. Which tabs will be shown in the dialog box depends on the type of drawing object that you have selected. For example, the Fill tab will not be offered for line objects. Setting a two colored fill color for an object See also Drawing objects and drawing layer The Line tabThis tab defines the width and color of the lines in a selected drawing object. Where closed objects are concerned, this refers to the object's outline. Click the Color button and select a color from the palette. The color is not limited to those offered in the palette, it can be freely chosen. You can define as many additional colors as you wish. Select the Transparent check box to make the outline of an object disappear. Note: Different styles of line, such as dotted, dashed etc., are only available for the thinnest line width. Arrow: It's not possible to change the style of an arrow in this dialog box. To do that, use the Arrow Style Text: Where a text object is concerned, the line characteristics refer to the outline of the text object. You set the font size on the Formatting Font toolbar. The Fill tabThis tab defines how the drawing objects are filled out. This tab is only available for the closed objects (rectangles and ellipses). Text: The fill color refers to the area that the text object takes up. You set the font color in the Formatting Font toolbar. Setting a two colored fill color for an object1.Select a drawing object, a rectangle for example, and click your right mouse button and use the Properties... command in the context menu. 2.Switch to the Fill tab, and make sure that the Transparent Fill check box has been cleared. 3.Click the Foreground Color button, and select a color from the palette. 4.Clear the Transparent Background check box. 5.Click the Background Color button, and select a color from the palette. 6.Select a fill pattern from the Hatch list. 7.Click the Apply or OK button. 8.The changes you have made will be shown. 2910 25032013 |
