Split/Unsplit Document Group

Select a command from the Window > Split/Unsplit submenu to set up a new document group or to combine two document groups into one again.

In the newly set up document group the active document will be automatically displayed. You cannot, therefore, create a new document group when only one document has been loaded.

bb_NewDocumentGroupRight The Document Group (Right) command creates a new document group to the right of the active document group.

bb_NewDocumentGroupBottom The Document Group (Bottom) command creates a new document group below the active one.

bb_newdocumentgroupleft The Document Group (Left) command creates a new document group to the left of the active document group.

bb_newdocumentgrouptop The Document Group (Top) command creates a new document group above the active one.

Why split document groups?

With the help of two or more document groups, you can easily compare two images on your monitor. To do this, load the images. Then set up two document groups, and have the images you want to compare displayed in different document groups.
