Changing an image's zoom factor Showing the position of a view in the image navigator See also Changing an image's zoom factorThe Image Navigator tool window offers you several possibilities for adjusting the zoom factor at which an image is displayed. The current zoom factor is displayed on the bottom right in the status bar. 1.In the Image Navigator tool window, while keeping the left mouse button depressed, drag the navigation frame to a smaller size. As soon as you release the mouse button, only the image segment you have selected will be shown in the image window. 2.Enter the zoom factor you want directly in the edit field in the Image Navigator tool window and press the [Enter] key, or use the slide control. The zoom factor must be entered as a percentage. For example, to zoom an image to its original size, you enter 100. One pixel will then be displayed precisely as one monitor point. With a zoom factor of 50, the image will only be displayed half as large in the image window. 3.Rotate the mouse wheel to change the zoom factor. Selecting an image segmentSet a zoom factor that will allow you to see all of the image's details. It is often not possible to have the whole image displayed in the image window at the zoom factor you want. The Image Navigator tool window offers you various possibilities for specifying which image segment is to be displayed in the image window. 1.Reduce the size of the navigation frame to magnify the image in the image window. 2.Move the mouse pointer onto the navigation frame and with the left mouse button depressed, drag the complete frame onto the image segment that you want to examine. 3.Alternatively, simply click the image position you want to examine once with the left mouse button. Showing the position of a view in the image navigatorWhen you have defined a view in the Annotations tool window, you can have this view shown you in the image navigator so that you can see to which segment of the image this view belongs. Click here to obtain more information on views. 1.Click the name of the view once, in the Annotations tool window. 2.The view's position will be shown as a green frame in the Image Navigator tool window. 3.When you only click the view once, the view will only be displayed in the Image Navigator tool window.
