Using camera settings in a macro

The Macro Manager tool window offers you the possibility to quickly and easily automate work procedures that you use repeatedly. The settings in the Camera Control tool window aren't recorded in a macro. When you require certain camera settings in a macro, you can use the Camera Control tool window to save the settings you want in a parameter set. In the macro, you can load this parameter set before you acquire an image.

You can find more information on working with macros here.

The system is preset in such a way that a new parameter set is initially only available to the user who set it up. You recognize this status by the small icon (icon_user_palette) next to the name.

Select the Public option. The parameter set can now be used by other users. You will be able to recognize this by the small icon (icon_standard_palette) next to the parameter set's name.
