Select one or more drawing objects and use the Nudge command in the menu to move the selected objects in the corresponding direction. Each step is 0.1 mm. Objects cannot be moved beyond the border of the image. When you have accessed a command from the Nudge menu, you can use the [Ctrl + Y] keyboard shortcut to shift the selected objects step by step in the direction you have chosen. Creating a special toolbar for the nudge functionIf you frequently use the Nudge menu's commands to position drawing objects accurately, you should set up a personal toolbar. You can then move an object simply by clicking the respective button.
1.Use the Tools > Customization > Start Customize Mode... command. 2.Select the Toolbars tab in the Customize dialog box. 3.Click the New... button. 4.Enter "Nudge" in the Toolbar Name dialog box. Confirm your settings with OK. 5. The new toolbar will be shown in the upper left monitor area. Since it does not yet contain any buttons, it can easily be overlooked. Look out for a toolbar that's empty, like the one shown above. 5.Switch to the Commands tab in the Customize dialog box. 6.Select the Drawing command group in the Categories list. 7.Select the commands you need in the Commands list, namely: Nudge Up, Down, Left and Right, and drag them onto the new toolbar. 8.Click the Close button to finalize the configuration of the toolbar. •The newly set up configuration will then be automatically loaded the next time you start your software. It will then contain the toolbar you have set up. Positioning objectsYour software offers you several ways of positioning drawing objects. •To do so, click the Select Drawing Objects •With the arrow keys on your keyboard, you can move the selected objects in the direction the arrow points. •Use the commands in the Nudge menu.
