Print Image

Use this dialog box to print out the active image.

This dialog box will open when an image is active in the document group and you use the File > Print... command.

When printing an image the page layout defined in the File > Page Setup > Images > Page dialog box is used automatically.

Using print preview

Use the File > Print Preview command to open a print preview. Here you will see the active document exactly as it will look when printed out.

Printer

Use the Printer group to change your printer's settings for the printout. Please note that these settings are only valid until you close your software. The next time you start your software your operating system's default settings will again be adopted.

Parameters

In the Number of copies field you enter how many copies of the image you want to print.

Enter the width of the frames – to be placed around each image – in the Frame width field. The unit in use is 1/4 point. For no frames, enter 0.

Select the Print to file check box to have the whole document you wish to have printed out saved into a special print file. Confirm with OK to open a dialog box in which you can enter the file name. The dialog box’s appearance will vary depending on the printer and printer driver selected.

Setting the page layout

Click the Page Setup... button to open the Page Setup dialog box and to change the page layout. You can, e.g., add headers and footers or have the scale bar printed, too.
