Switching the synchronization on and offClick the Synchronize Image Windows What exactly does synchronization mean?There are different ways in which you can browse images. You can enlarge images and display different image segments in the image window. Or you can browse through a time stack. With synchronized images you browse through an image and in doing so, automatically change the way that other images are displayed. Which images have been synchronized?Image windows that are synchronized have this symbol Note: This command applies only to the images that have already been loaded. An image that you now acquire or load, will not be synchronized with the other image windows. Where do you find this function?You will find the Synchronize Image Windows button on the Window toolbar. Alternatively, you will also find this command on the Documents tool window's toolbar, and in its context menu. To open the context menu, rightclick the Documents tool window. Settings for the synchronizationThe Tools > Options > Images > Synchronize dialog box, offers you several settings with which you can change the synchronization's behavior. See also Synchronizing a selection of image windowsIt is also possible to limit the synchronization to a selection of image windows. 1.Select all of the image windows you want to synchronize, in the Documents tool window. For the selection of documents, the standard MS-Windows conventions for multiple selection are valid. 2.In the Documents tool window, click the small arrow next to the Synchronize Image Windows button. From the menu, select the Synchronize Selected Image Windows 3.Image windows that are synchronized have this symbol 3.Cancel the synchronization. To do so, use the Stop synchronization command, either in the toolbar or in the Document tool window's context menu.
