Options - Images - View

This dialog box offers several settings that change the image window's appearance.

Opening the dialog box

To open this dialog box, use the Tools > Options... command and select the Images > View entry in the tree structure.

Single Frame View

The settings in this group apply to the Single Frame View image window view. In this image window view only precisely one frame will be shown in the image window.

Showing and configuring rulers

You can have two rulers displayed in the image window. To do this, select the Show rulers check box. By default these rulers display absolute units of length. The unit used for a particular image can be ascertained from its calibration data.

You can change the units used by the ruler.

Click on the unit, which is displayed on the top right and bottom left of the ruler, to change it from absolute units of length to pixel units.

When you move over an image with the mouse pointer the status bar below right will show you the mouse's current position. Different values will be shown in the status bar, depending on how you set the unit for the ruler.

Centering the image

Clear the Center the image check box to place the image in the top left-hand corner of the image window.

Select the Center the image check box to center the image in the image window.
