These options will only be available if you have a device that responds to the TWAIN interface. Acquiring images via a TWAIN interface1.Install the TWAIN driver's software and connect the device to your PC. 2.In your software, select the driver for the device from which you want to import images. To do this use the Acquire > Twain > Select Input... command. 3.Use the Acquire > Twain > Import Images... command to import images via the TWAIN interface. This command will open a dialog box in which you can set various device parameters for the import of the image. 4.To have the image retroactively calibrated, use the Image > Calibrate Image > XY-Calibration dialog box. Please note, that in this case you will need to have a known linear distance in the image. TransferIn which form the data will be transferred from the TWAIN device to your software will be determined in the Transfer group. The image will, in every case, be transferred to your software's memory. The Memory option is the standard selection. Select the Bitmap option to carry out a so-called "DWORD alignment", i.e., the number of bits per line will be increased to the next largest quantity that can be divided by four. GeneralSelect the Close after import check box to have the TWAIN device's acquisition dialog box automatically closed after an image has been imported. Select the Calibrate after import check box to automatically open the Calibrate Image dialog box after the image has been imported. If the TWAIN device has an automatic paper feed, this can be activated via the Use autofeed check box. 4502 08042013 |
