bb_SnapToBrightbb_SnapToDark Snap to bright or dark

Prerequisite: These functions can only be used with Arbitrary Line, 3 Point Angle and 2 Point Circle measurement objects.

You can use the Snap to bright or Snap to dark functions to snap a measurement object to the nearest brightest or darkest pixel when adding it. If the image's center of symmetry was additionally determined by the Find Center function, the first measurement point of the subsequent measurement object is placed on the image's center of symmetry.

You can find the commands as buttons on the Measurement toolbar.

bb_SnapToBright Snap to bright

With the Snap to bright function, the nearest brightest pixel is determined when adding a measurement object. The measurement object's reference point automatically snaps to this position.

bb_SnapToDark Snap to dark

With the Snap to dark function, the nearest darkest pixel is determined when adding a measurement object. The measurement object's reference point automatically snaps to this position.
