Maximize live-image to screen

To see only the live image on your monitor, click the Maximize to Screen button. The user interface will be completely faded out. You will find this button in the Camera Control tool window.

Size of the live-image

The live-image's zoom factor will not be changed when you switch to the Maximize mode. If you want to use the complete monitor for the display of the live-image, click the Fit to Window button, before you switch to the Maximize mode. You will find more information on increasing or reducing the size of an image in an image window here.

Turning off Maximize to screen

To switch off this mode and return to the normal user interface, use the [Esc] key, or click the Exit button.

Setting the image background

In the Maximize mode, the live-image need not take up all of your monitor's screen. You can set a different color for the background. In a darkened room, even a gray background can be distracting when viewing an image. In this case you can set a black background.

To do this, use the Tools > Options... command. Select the Images > General entry in the tree view. Select the background you want from the Background list.
