Use the Save Calibration As dialog box to save calibration data. With the help of this data you can very quickly calibrate further images at a later point. To open the Save Calibration As dialog box, click in the Image > Calibrate Image dialog box on the Save Calibration As Saving and using calibration data See also Description of dialog boxIn the Save Calibration As dialog box, you will find a list of all calibration data that has already been saved. Saving calibration dataEnter a name for the calibration data in the Name field. Select a significant short name that accurately describes the calibration data. You can then reload this calibration data under this name at a later date. In the Description field, you can enter a detailed description of the calibration data. One way to use the description would be so as to decide whether or not the calibration data is still relevant or if it could be deleted. Click the Save button to save the calibration data of the active image and to return to the Calibrate Image dialog box. Publishing calibration dataAll of the calibration data that you've defined yourself and have not later on published, will be indicated by this icon Should you wish to make calibration data available to all of the software's users, choose the Access > Public option. All public calibration data can be recognized by this icon Note: Public calibration data can be edited, and even deleted by every user of your software. Viewing and changing the description of the calibration dataSelect an entry. In the Description field, you can view, edit, or add something to current description text. Deleting calibration dataTo delete calibration data that has already been saved, select an entry and press the [Del] key on your keyboard. Saving and using calibration dataSaving calibration data1.Either load a correctly calibrated image, or carry out a calibration on the active image. 2.Use the Image > Calibrate Image... command. 3.In the Calibrate Image dialog box, click the Save Calibration 4.The Save Calibration As dialog box opens. 4.Enter a name for the calibration data in the Name field. You can then reload this calibration data under this name at a later date. 5.In the Description field, you can enter a detailed description of the calibration data. 6.Click the Save button. 7.The Save Calibration As dialog box is closed. 8.You will then find the calibration data in the Load calibration list in the Calibrate Image dialog box. 7.Close the Calibrate Image dialog box with OK. 8.With the help of the calibration data that has been saved, you can now calibrate an image very quickly. Using calibration data1.Load the image that you want to calibrate. 2.Use the Image > Calibrate Image... command. 3.Activate the tab for the dimension you want to calibrate. Activate, e.g., the XY-Calibration tab to determine the absolute size of a pixel. 4.At the top right of the Calibrate Image dialog box, you will find the Load calibration list with the calibration data that have been saved. Select the desired calibration data. 5.Close the dialog box with OK to confirm the calibration. 6.The X/Y-calibration data in the Calibration group will be updated. 7.The name of the calibration data will be displayed in the Load calibration field. 6.To double-check the X/Y-calibration, use the [Shift + F4] shortcut to show the scale bar with its new calibration. 00102 04032013 |
