Options - Fourier Transform - General

This dialog box has several settings for the display of FT images.

Opening the dialog box

To open this dialog box, use the Tools > Options... command and select the Fourier Transform > General entry in the tree structure.

ROI

You can specify whether you want the name and the size of the ROI (region of interest) to be displayed in the image or not here.

Select the Show name check box, to have the ROI's name and size displayed in the image. Clear the Show name check box, to have only the ROI displayed in the image without labels.

The software saves the size and position of the last ROI you defined by default.

Clear the Keep previous size and position check box if you don't want the size and position of the last ROI you defined to be automatically applied to the next ROIs you define.

FT calculation

In the FT calculation group, you can specify how you want the ROI's rectangle to behave when you drag a handle while pressing the [Shift] key.

Select the Square ROI (FFT) option to keep the ROI square when you change its size.

Select the Arbitrary rectangular ROI (DFT) option to allow the ROI to take on any rectangular shape when you change its size.
