Float/Unfloat Document Group

Use this command to detach a document group from the user interface. Then you can, just as you would with a freely moveable window, drag the document group to any position or change its size.

If several document groups have been opened, only the active document group will be floated from its docked position.

Prerequisite: You can only position document groups as you wish when you are in the expert mode.

When the active document group has already been floated out of the user interface, this command will reunite it with the user interface.

Alternatively, you can also click the button with the hand and drag the document group to the position you want. You will find this button on the top right of the document group's title bar.

Floating a document group

1.Use the Window > Float/Unfloat Document Group command.

2.The document group will be detached from the user interface. To show this, the document group will then have its own title bar just like a dialog box.

2.The document group then behaves like a standard window which allows you to change its size and position at will.

3.To return the document group to the user interface, use the Windows > Float/Unfloat Document Group command again.
