Use this dialog box for entering text for the header or footer when you print out a single image. To open this dialog box, use the File > Page Setup... command and select the Images > Header/Footer entry in the tree structure. Entering headers or footersYou can enter the desired text for headers/footers in the Header and Footer fields. The kind of font being used will be displayed above each field. Formatting headers or footersClick the respective Font... button to format the text in the header or footer. You will always determine the font characteristics for the complete text of the header or footer. This is why individual words in the header or footer cannot be formatted in bold or italics. Select a font from the Font list. In the Font Style list choose whether you want the text in normal, bold or italic letters. Select the font size you want in the Size list. You can center the text in the header or footer horizontally or vertically in the corresponding Center group. Select the Print info stamp check box to have the info stamp printed out together with the image. You specify which information will be printed, in the Tools > Options > Info Stamp > Properties dialog box. Where the printout is concerned, it is of no consequence whether the info stamp is currently on display in the image or not. Select the Print scale bar check box to have a scale bar for printing appear in the image. Use a placeholderIn addition to simple texts in the respective header/footer, you can also use placeholders, to insert specific document characteristics or details automatically in the texts.
