Use the Print dialog box to print documents other than images, charts for example. The dialog box opens if no image is active in the document group when you use the File > Print... command. Description of dialog boxUse the Printer group to change your printer's settings for the printout. The default settings will be adopted by the operating system. Should you alter these settings here, the alterations will only be valid as long as your software stays open. They will be lost when you close your software. Enter how many copies of the document you want, in the Number of copies field. When a document is printed, the page layout that has been defined in the File > Page Setup dialog box for that type of document will be automatically used. When you print a chart, for example, you specify the page layout in the Page Setup > Chart > Page dialog box. Click the Page Setup... button to check the current page layout and, should it be necessary, to change it. Select the Print to file check box to have the whole document you wish to have printed out saved into a special print file. Confirm with OK to open a dialog box in which you can enter the file name. The dialog box’s appearance will vary depending on the printer and printer driver selected. With OK you close the Print dialog box and start the printout. 5110 11032014 |
