Measurement mode

Displaying the measurement's freehand control points

The Show freehand measurement control points check box is valid for all freehand measurement functions, e.g., the Free Hand Polygon bb_FreePolygon measurement function. Select the Show freehand measurement control points check box, to have all of the control points that you've set with your left mouse button during the measurement displayed, when the measurement has been finalized. The control points are only displayed as long as the measurement object is selected. Choose an existing freehand measurement object, to once more display the control points.

Clear the check box to only display the starting and end point of the polygon as control points.

Switching to the selection mode after the measurement

As soon as you have clicked a measurement function, your software will automatically switch to a measurement mode. There are two measurement modes, the simple and the continuous mode. The Switch to 'Select Measurement Objects' mode after creating a measurement object check box determines which of the two measurement modes is active.

A detailed explanation of the measurement modes can be found here.

Language

You also display all of the measurement results in English at any time. To do so, select the Show overlay and exported results in English check box. In the Measurement tool window, you will then find the English description of the measurement parameters. Should you have the names of the measurement parameters displayed in the image, they will then also be in English.

You can return to the original language at any time.

Should you work with an English software version, this check box will be faded out.
