Use the File > Print Preview command to switch to the print preview. Here you will see the active document exactly as it will look when printed out.
Print preview for images
Should the active document be an image, the page layout will be determined by the current settings in the Page Setup > Images > Page dialog box.
The print preview has its own toolbar.

Click the Print button to print the image as it's displayed in the Print Preview. A dialog box, in which you can choose your printer settings, will be opened.
Use the zoom buttons in this toolbar to make the page on display in the print preview larger or smaller. The greatest possible zoom factor is 100%, the smallest possible zoom factor is the display of the whole page. With your monitor set at a very large resolution, the effect of the zoom buttons will, in certain cases, be very small.
The selected zoom factor has no effect on the printout.
Click the Page Setup button if you want to change something in the way the page is set up. By doing this you will open the Page Setup > Images > Page dialog box. You can find more information on this dialog box here.
Click the Close Preview button to exit the print preview and return to your software's usual user interface. The document will then once more be displayed as it was before the Print Preview command was used.
