Description of dialog box
With the Camera Control tool window, you can record movies.
Setting the maximum recording time
Use the Reserve space for movie recording time (minutes) slide control to set the maximum possible acquisition time in minutes. The maximum possible acquisition times are between 1 minute and 1 hour.
The movie acquisition will automatically stop when the maximum acquisition time is reached. It is of course possible to manually stop the movie acquisition earlier.
When you start the movie acquisition, your software will check the available storage capacity on your hard disk. If there is not enough free storage capacity available to save a movie with a running time of the maximum recording time, you will get a message.
Note: The maximum file size for uncompressed movies is limited to 2 GB. Choose a compression method on the Acquisition Settings > Acquisition > Saving > Movie tab. To do this, click the Options... button.
Setting the maximum frame rate
Select the As fast as possible check box. Now, the frame rate depends on the current exposure time.
Clear the As fast as possible check box. Now, you can use the slide control to set the frame rate you want. The frame rate specifies how many frames are acquired per second.
Restoring default settings
Click the Default button to restore the default settings.
