The Save <Parameter Set> As dialog box can be opened from a variety of tool windows or dialog boxes. Here, you can save specific settings that you've made, e.g., in a dialog box, in a parameter set. The saved parameter set can at any time be loaded, and made available to other users. Some examples: •Use the Save Color Table As dialog box to save user-defined pseudo color tables in a parameter set. Click the Save Color Table button in the Image > Pseudo Color dialog box to open this dialog box. •Use the View > Layout > Save Current Layout As... command to save the current arrangement of toolbars and tool windows as a parameter set. See also Description of dialog boxAvailable setsThe list of dialog boxes contains all of the parameter sets that have already been defined, and that are available to you. In some dialog boxes, you'll also find information about the individual parameter sets, e.g., the description that was entered when a new parameter set was set up. Predefined parameter sets can't be deleted. They are identified in the list with a lock icon This icon This icon Assigning a nameEnter a name for the parameter set in the Name field. Choose a short, descriptive name that is as good a description as possible of the parameter set. You can then reload this parameter set under this name at a later date. Entering a descriptionIn the Description field, you can enter a detailed description of the parameter set. This description is shown in the Manage <Parameter Set> dialog box, where you can overwrite or delete a parameter set, for example. Please note that it is not possible to enter a description for each parameter set. Saving a parameter setClick the Save button to save the current parameter set, and to return to the dialog box in which you've entered the parameter. Additional functions in the dialog boxWith some Save <parameter set> As dialog boxes, additional functions are available. Managing parameter setsClick the Manage... button to open an additional dialog box. You will then see a list of entries showing all of the parameter sets that already exist. Select an entry from this list to edit that parameter set, to delete it, or to duplicate it. Setting who has access to the parameter setSelect the Private If you want to make the new parameter set available to all of the users of your software, select the Public Note: Public parameter sets can be edited, and even deleted by every user of your software. Renaming a parameter setIn the Save <parameter set> As dialog box, you will find a list of all of the parameter sets that have been saved before. To rename parameter sets that have already been saved, select an entry. Click the right mouse button and select the Rename command in the context menu. Predefined parameter sets can't be renamed. Deleting parameter setsIn the Save <parameter set> As dialog box, you will find a list of all of the parameter sets that have been saved before. To delete parameter sets that have already been saved, select an entry. Click the right mouse button and select the Delete command in the context menu.
