Audio Annotation

Click the Audio Annotation button to record an audio annotation for a certain image position. You will find this button in the Annotations tool window.

The technical prerequisites for acquiring audio annotations:

To be able to acquire audio annotations, your PC must be equipped with a sound card, microphone and loudspeaker. Instead of a loudspeaker and microphone, you can also use a headset (earphones with a built-in microphone).

Acquiring and playing-back an audio commentary on an image position

1.Either select an existing marker in the image or set a new marker.

2.Click the Audio Annotation button to open a dialog box.

3.The OK button is only active when the technical prerequisites for the acquisition of audio annotations are fulfilled.

3.Enter a name for the audio annotation in the Audio Annotation dialog box.

4.Click on this button and speak the commentary.

5.Click on this button to end the acquisition.

6.Click on this button to listen to the audio commentary.

7.When you are satisfied, close the dialog box with OK.

8.The name of the audio annotation will be displayed in the Annotations tool window.
