Use the buttons in the Zoom toolbar to set the size the active image is to be displayed on your monitor.
If this toolbar is not displayed, use the View > Toolbars > Zoom command.

Zoom Out
|
You can zoom out on an image on your monitor step by step. To do this, click the Zoom Out button repeatedly.
Alternatively, use the [Ctrl + -] keyboard shortcut.

Zoom In
|
You can enlarge an image on your monitor step by step. To do this, click the Zoom In button repeatedly.
Alternatively, use the [Ctrl + +] keyboard shortcut.
Note: With a zoom factor of 100% one point on the monitor represents one image pixel. Please note that a magnification of more than 100% will not make any additional image details visible.

Actual Pixels
|
Click this button to set the images zoom factor to 100%. At this zoom factor, one pixel will be displayed as precisely one monitor point.
Alternatively, use the [Ctrl + Alt + 0] keyboard shortcut.
This preference offers you the optimum possibility of recognizing details in the image on your monitor. When it's a very large image, however, you will only see a very small segment of that image.

Fit to Window
|
Click this button to adapt the image's zoom factor to the current size of the image window. The zoom factor will then be calculated to the maximum that will allow the image to be displayed in its entirety.
Alternatively, use the [Ctrl + 0] keyboard shortcut.
Using this zoom function you will see the whole image. When it's a very large image, however, you will not be able to see all of the details.
