When you compute an FT image from an image, the FT image initially stays linked to the source image. Click the Remove Link button to remove the link. You can find this button on the Fourier Transform tool window's toolbar. Note: The link between an image and its FT images only exists as long as the source image is loaded in the document group. When you close the source image in the document group, the link between this image and its FT images is automatically broken. See also Tool Window - Fourier Transform Removing the link between an image and FT imagesRemoving the link between an image and all of its FT images1.Select a gray-value image in the Fourier Transform tool window's document area 2.Click the Remove Link 3.The gray-value image and all FT images belonging to this image now disappear from the Fourier Transform tool window's document area. 4.If you defined an ROI on an image segment on the source image, it will be deleted. 5.The FT image's tab in the document group's header is now no longer colored differently. 3.The FT image remains open in the document group. You can save the FT image as a file, for example. Use the File > Save As... command.
