Use the Button Appearance dialog box to change the appearance of a button on a toolbar. To open this dialog box, follow this step-by-step instruction. Changing the appearance of a button See also Customizing the user interface Description of dialog boxIn the Icon group you will find all of the icons you can assign to a button. Find the icon that best fits the button's function. Under the icons you will find an illustration of the currently selected button (Current icon and the new button (New icon). The changes that you make will apply to the currently selected button. The button's labelingSelect the Text only option, if you want the command's name to appear on the button without an image. The text with which the button will be labeled will be shown for your information in the Text group. Select the Icon only option, to not have the button labeled. The button will then only display the image you have selected. Select the Icon and Text option, then the button will display both image and command name. The Description group shows you the short command description that will appear for each of the buttons when you move your mouse pointer over it. Changing the appearance of a buttonNote: The following step-by-step instructions use the Camera Control toolbar as an example. You can change the buttons on any other toolbar in exactly the same way. The Camera Control toolbar contains buttons for image acquisition, for example the Snap 1.If the Camera Control toolbar is not displayed, use the View > Toolbars > Camera Control command. 2.Use the Tools > Customization > Start Customize Mode... command. 3.Click the button that is to change its appearance. The Customize dialog box will remain open. •The button you've selected will be outlined in black. 4.Position your mouse pointer on a button and rightclick to open a context menu. 5.From the context menu, select the Button Appearance... command. 6.In the Icon group, look for a button that you prefer.
