This tool window is not normally displayed in any layout. If you want to see it, use the View > Tool Windows > History command. The History tool window details which actions have been carried out since the image was acquired or loaded. The history always relates to the active image. When you create a new image or change the general settings for your software, these actions will not be listed in the history. As long as the image is loaded you can take another look at every intermediate situation at any time. The list remains available even after you save the image file, as long as you don't close the image in the software. Only if you close the image will the history be deleted. To have a look at an intermediate situation, click the corresponding entry. The arrow in the tool window will be moved and the image loaded. Click the topmost entry to load the source image. Note: All of your software's commands affect the loaded image, not the image resulting from your last operation. If you go back a few steps in the history and change something on the image, you will also change the currently displayed image and delete all of the later entries in the history. 1400 08042013 |
