Save Image Options - CMP

Use the CMP tab located in the Save Image Options dialog box to set options for the CMP image file format. These options will then be taken into account every time you save images in CMP format.

CMP is a compression method from LEAD Technologies.

Note: CMP images can only be loaded by application programs that support LEADTOOLS. If you're not sure which application program you want to use to load the images, you should save the images in a different image file format.

Opening the dialog box

Select the File > Save As... command. Select the LEAD Compression (*.cmp) image file format and click the Options... button .

Description of dialog box

Entering a high value in the Quality field will ensure that your images are of high quality. Even a relatively high value, e.g. 85%, considerably reduces the file's size.

Note: As with most compression methods, LEAD Compression creates image artifacts.
