Displaying tool windows transparentlyRightclick a floated tool window's header to open a context menu containing the Transparency submenu. The Transparency submenu offers you three degrees of transparency: Low, Medium and High. How does a transparent tool window behave? In a floated condition, tool windows can be semitransparent, which makes it possible to still recognize the user interface that lies under them. The tool window will become transparent as soon as you activate another element on the user interface, e.g. the image window. When you activate the tool window the transparency will immediately be terminated. Displaying tool windows opaquelyRightclick a floated tool window's header to open a context menu containing the Transparency > Off command. Resetting the layout makes the tool windows reappear in their original positions. With predefined layouts, a transparency that you have set before is removed too. To do so, use the View > Layout > Reset Current Layout command. Floating a tool windowNote: You can only position tool windows as you wish when you are in the expert mode. Tool windows can be docked to the left or right of the document window, or below it. You can, however, at any time detach a tool window from the user interface. To release a tool window from its docked position, click on its header with your left mouse button. Then, while keeping the left mouse button depressed, drag the tool window to wherever you want it. 00145 26092012 |
