bb_SendEmail Send E-mail

Use the File > Send E-mail... command to send some or all of the loaded documents by e-mail.

Note: Most e-mail servers have limits on the size of e-mails they will send. E-mails, that exceed the accepted size will not be sent. Try to keep the size of the e-mail as small as possible. You can find more information on this topic here.

Description of dialog box

In the Send E-mail dialog box all of the documents that are currently loaded in the document group will be listed.

The Document column shows a check box, an icon and the document type. Select the check box in front of each document that you want to send by e-mail.

The Name column shows the name of the document.

The File type column shows the file format in which the document will be sent. A document's format depends on what type of document it is. You can find an overview of document types here.

Click the Send button to generate an e-mail with the selected documents included as attachments.

Click the Select All button to send all loaded documents.

Click the Deselect All button to clear the selection of all documents listed.

Click the Options... button to access a number of settings for sending documents. This dialog box contains the following tabs:

Setting the file format

Your software uses a standard format for each document type when sending the corresponding document. You can change this standard format. To do this, click the Options... button in the Send E-mail dialog box. Select the format you want on the document type's tab in the Send E-mail Options dialog box.

Note: If you load a document that has already been saved as a file, this document will normally be sent in the file format in which it was saved. If you, e.g., load an image file that has been saved as a BMP file, this image will be sent as a BMP file.
