Unsaved documents

The Unsaved Documents dialog box will always open when you want to close documents that have not been saved. You can then decide whether or not you still need the data.

In particular, when you exit your software, all data that has not yet been saved will be listed in the Unsaved Documents dialog box. This gives you the chance to decide which document you still want to save. Various new documents, mainly images, and also existing saved documents that you have altered are listed. All of the documents that are offered for saving will be identified by an asterisk in the Documents tool window and in the document window's title.

Saving unsaved documents when closing your program

1.Use the File > Exit command.

The Unsaved Documents dialog box will list all images and documents that have not yet been saved.

All documents that are new will be listed, and also documents that already exist as a file but have been altered.

You will find a check box in front of each document. By default, all of the check boxes are selected.

2.Check each of the listed documents to see whether or not you want to save it. Clear the check box in front of any document you don't want to save.

3.Click the Save button to confirm your selection.

4.For every document that has not yet been saved as a file, the dialog box for saving documents will be opened.

When a document already exists as a file, the file name and the storage location will be specified in the Path column. If you select the check box in front of this document, the document will be once more saved under the old name.

5.Click the Don't Save button when you don't want to save any of the documents that have not yet been saved. In this case your software will be ended and the documents that have not been saved will be lost.

6.Click the Cancel button to end the whole operation and to return to your software. In this case your software will not be ended.
