Export to Excel

Use the File > Export to > Excel... command to export the active document into an MS-Excel file.

It is possible to export charts to MS-Excel. This command opens the standard dialog box for saving MS-Excel files.

Exporting a line chart to an MS-Excel file

The data will be written to the MS-Excel workbook's first worksheet Chart Data Series. The first column has the title Value X [Unit of the X-values]. The following columns contain the Y-values of the line chart. If the line chart consists of more than one curve, there will automatically be several column.
