Multiple Selection

The MS-Windows conventions for selecting objects are:

Selecting single, not consecutive, objects

Hold the [Ctrl] key depressed and click the required objects.

Selecting a series of objects

Hold the [Shift] key depressed and click on the first and last object that you want to select.

Selecting all objects

Use the [Ctrl + A] shortcut.

Selecting all objects and deselecting some

Hold the [Shift] key depressed and click on the first and last object that you want to select. Then hold the [Ctrl] key depressed and click the documents which are to be cleared.
